Ways to Help Teckels |

Not everyone can adopt a dog, but there is still plenty you can do to help Teckels find loving, permanent homes for rescue dogs and cats.
We rely on volunteers and donations to continue our life-saving work. Any help you can provide – financial or otherwise – will be very gratefully received. |

Make a donation |

Before you throw out that old towel, sheet, or tired old duvet, think about donating it to Teckels. We would also gladly receive your old CD's, DVD's and books to help us raise money.
Maybe next time you are out shopping for your own dog, why not pick up a few (cheap) dog or cat treats, toys, collars, leads, bowls or other doggy gear for a Teckels dog
We recycle inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges and old mobile phones Save a few pounds each week with friends or colleagues at work, to donate to Teckels for a Teckels dog or cat needing special vet care. Unfortunately, many of our animals require veterinary care beyond just neutering, spaying and vaccinating, and this is a significant proportion of Teckels costs.

Without the help of the wonderful people over the last few years who have so kindly and generously left us a legacy in their will, we would not have survived as a charity for as long as we have. Please remember Teckels when writing your will. |

Become a sponsor |

From just £125 per year you can sponsor one of our rescue kennels or cat pens.
You will receive a certificate and a quarterly update on the animals that have been housed in your kennel or cat pen
A plaque with a message of you choice to be hung on the kennel i.e. in loving memory of Scoobie the Spaniel 1994 – 2001
You can sponsor a kennel as a family, group, company or in memory of a person or your pet.
For company sponsors we can offer you an advertising space on our advertising wall in the car park at the sanctuary for a minimum donation of £80 per year.
Or for a minimum donation of £200 per year, we can offer you a space on our brand new website to advertise your company logo.
We can offer a package deal if you would like to sponsor us in more than one way, please ask us for more details.

Help with Laundry |

Every day Teckels get through hundreds of blankets, towels and sheets. We believe that all of our dogs and cats should be kept warm and cosy with plenty of nice clean bedding, as well as sheets in their outside runs to lie on, and not on the cold concrete. Due to the amount of bedding we use, we are always struggling to keep on top of it, even with the washing machines going all day and night. The new building will house a much larger laundry facility and we are hoping that this will help us to manage the washing in the future, but until then, we are always greatful for any volunteers who could take some washing home with them, or alternatively we are always greatful to recieve any donations of old sheets, blankets, towels and duvets which can be left at reception at any time, or call Teckels for further information. |
