At Teckels we rely on people volunteering their time and skills to help us carry out all the important work that we do. We are always welcoming to new volunteers and appreciate all the hard work that they put into Teckels. Unfortunately, the minimum age for volunteering is 18. Fundraising Volunteers needed |
|
|
|
We are currently in desperate need of volunteers to help us with our fundraising, i.e. organise fundraising events and/or to help us raise awareness and money at some local shows, such as Stroud show, Frampton, etc. If you think you can spare a few hours please contact Lesley via email:

Foster Carers |
|
|
|
Could you foster a cat or a dog? We occasionally need foster carers to look after our animals for short term (a few days) or long term fostering until a permanent home can be found. If you feel you could help us to look after one (or more!) of our animals in your home please call us for more detail. |

Information and marketing |
|
|
|
If you have media and marketing experience, we need your help to spread the word! If not, you can still help promote Teckels. We are always looking for new places to put Teckels posters advertising our services. They can be posted at your school, vet office, workplace or local shopping centre. |

|
Interested in becoming a Trustee? |
|
|
|
Teckels is currently looking to recruit new trustees to help charity to grow and flourish. If you are interested in becoming a Trustee and helping Teckels as a charity or would like some more information please contact us on 01452 740 300. |

Home Checks |
|
|
|
For every dog and cat that is re-homed, we always conduct home checks to ensure the suitability of the new home for the animal. To save our precious time at the sanctuary, we are always looking for volunteers to conduct home check across Gloucestershire. Please call us for more details. |

Events and fundraising |
|
|
|
Teckels regularly holds fund raising events. Our market stalls are always popular. If you'd like to volunteer to help out for a few hours at one of our local events please contact us. Or if you have any fund raising ideas that you would like to implement or hold any events in your local community to sponsor Teckels, we would be happy to help you.  |
