We always have a variety of dogs available at Teckels, or situated in one of our foster homes around the county, which aren't always on our website, so please feel free to call us or pop in to see which dogs are available. When you have chosen a dog that you like, we will come to your home to check that it is suitable and then arrange for you to take the dog home to begin it’s new life with you. Adopting a Dog: We charge a one off adoption fee of £135 (this is to cover all associated veterinary costs. If you can afford any extra, donations towards their care at Teckels is always much appreciated!) Whats included? - Neutering or Spaying (if under 6 months a voucher will be issued)
- 1st part of their annual vaccination
- Microchip
- Behaviour Advice Booklet
- Worming and Flea Treatment
Can you give one of these dogs a home? |

Ty |
Staffy X, Male, Approx. 4 Years Old
Ty is a very sweet dog that is looking for a home that is as active as he is. He is a young dog with bundles of energy that is a real pleasure to take for a walk. Ty is very affectionate, he loves being the centre of attention and sometimes forgets his manners in the process. He is very playful and loves chasing after toys.Ty appears to be good with most other dogs but, as he came to us as a stray, he can not be rehomed with children under the age of ten. |

Scrappy |

Terrier, Male, 4 Years Old Scrappy is an energetic, lovely little dog that simply adores the company of people. His basic obedience is very good and he has learned some very impressive tricks. He loves water and will pick up a bowl of water, carry it around and then tip it over his head. Scrappy doesn't like other animals and will have to go to a home with one person only as he doesn't like sharing his affectiion. He is also looking for a home with somebody that is at home for most of the time. He loves going for walks and enjoys chasing after balls and would probably really enjoy doing some agility training. |

Blue |
Lurcher, male, 8 years old This stunning boy came to us after his owner could no longer care for him. He is a very affectionate dog that can get a little overexcited at times. Blue just adores people and children and would love to be part of a family where he can get all the fuss that he wants. Blue is lovely to take for a walk as he is nice and calm, he has had some basic obedience training and is just a real pleasure to be around. Racing around the paddock blue still seems like a puppy and being somewhere with enough space for him to burn off some energy would be ideal. Unfortunately, Blue can’t go with cats and is not always great with other dogs. |

Marley |
Staffy X, Male, Approx. 1 Year Old
Marley is a beautiful boy that originally came to us as a stray and was never claimed. He has a wonderful temperament and is great with people. Being still a young dog he is very energetic and can get very excited, particularly when going out for a walk. He appears to be good with most other dogs although would benefit from learning some more manners. Unfortunately he can not be rehomed with children under ten years old. |

Pedro |
Lurcher, 8 Years Old, Male
Pedro is a real cuddely boy that loves nothing more than fuss and attention. He is a great dog to take for a walk, as he is great on the lead and very calm. He is a typical lurcher that loves to race around for ten minutes, and then enjoys having a rest on a nice cozy sofa. As long as he is with people Pedro is happy. He is a bit of a sensitive boy and doesn't like loud noises, such as fireworks. Pedro is looking for someone that is as lovely and affectione as himself. Unfortunately, Pedro doesn't like cats and is not always great with other dogs. |

Rannouch and Taliska |
Trailerhounds, 2 Males, 9 & 10 yrs Tally and Rannie are our two fabulous Trailhounds that have been at the centre for about one and a half years. These two boys will need to find a home as lovely as they are where they can grow old together. The boys absolutely adore people and children and greatly enjoy being made a big fuss of. Ranny and Tally would love to snuggle up to you whilst watching TV and will repay you with all the love you could ever ask for. Both boys are quite strong on the lead but will walk very nicely on a harness and are also used to being near livestock. They would benefit from a home where they can get the attention that they deserve, and maybe a big garden where they can spend hours exploring all these exciting smells.
