Give your dog or cat a luxury stay at Teckels boarding kennels and give yourself peace of mind while you are away. We are an established boarding kennels and cattery formed in 2003 as a merger between two long established animal rescue charities.

Teckels is a registered charity, therefore by using our facilities and services you will be supporting us and helping towards the costs of caring for our welfare animals. Vet bills alone average £4000 a month!

The rescue and boarding animals are all cared for by our dedicated and hard-working staff and volunteers who regularly clean out, feed, exercise and interact with those in their care. The centre is staffed 24 hours a day.

Dog Boarding

Every kennel has its own fully covered outdoor run, and a nice cosy indoor sleeping area, with plenty of bedding to make it nice and comfortable. In addition, every kennel has an indoor heat lamp to keep your pooch nice and warm.

We cater for all dietary requirements using only high quality food, and are experienced in administering medication if required, at no extra charge. We also understand that a well exercised dog is a happy dog! All dogs get regular walks off site with one of our experienced staff members. In addition we have two large, secure paddocks where the dogs can run around, chase a ball and burn off some of their energy.

For the really pampered pooch, we also have an on-site grooming parlour. So why not book your dog in for grooming while you’re away?

Being pet owners ourselves, we understand how difficult it can be leaving your animal in another persons care, but we will treat them as we do our own, giving them lots of love and attention. We are always happy to show potential boarders around, no appointment necessary!

Boarding Fees

Boarding kennels open daily from 9.00 am – 4.00 pm

Except Christmas Day and some Bank Holidays

Charges apply for duration of stay, including day of Arrival and day of Departure.

Standard Charge for any Breed £10 per day

Exceptions:-

Mini Breed £8.50 per day

Very Large Breeds £10.50 per day

Day Boarders £8.00 per day

The Cats Whiskers

Your cats will thoroughly enjoy staying in our state-of-the-art cattery, which has single and double pens. All pens have a large play area with lots of toys, and are heated.

Boarding Fees

Single £6.50 per day

Two Sharing £11.00 per day

Three or more sharing £ 5.00 per cat per day

10% Discount for Teckels Members (Applies to daily boarding cost only)
